As per notification of the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal ( Memo no: 671-Edn (CS)/10M-95/2014 dated 08^th September, 2022), the Admission Portal will be re-opened (for second phase) to fill up the vacant seats of the following Subjects and Categories. The Portal will re-open from 10 am of 12th September, 2022 to 16th September, 2022 till 11.59 p.m.

Interested candidates are requested to apply online following the guidelines given below:

Important Note:

Ø  Eligibility criteria and other details are already given in the Admission 2022 Notice-1 dated 15/07/2022.

Ø  Vacancy may rise due to cancellation. Admission list will be published based on available vacancy.

Ø  Preference will be given to the eligible wish-listed waiting list applicants. The existing waiting listed applicants who have shown interest in the wish list (07.09.2022 to 09.09.2022) need not apply again.

Ø  In case of reserved seats of SC/ST and OBCA/OBCB, the applicant can apply although there is no vacancy in her category as per Govt. order (WB Reservation Act 2013); a SC seat may be filled by ST applicant or vice versa and an OBC A seat may be filled by an OBC A applicant or vice versa due to non availability of eligible applicants. (For admission, a SC/ST candidate must secure not less than 25% and an OBC candidate must secure not less than 10% of index mark of the last admitted candidate in General Category in Honours subject.)

Ø  Applicants are requested to go through the website regularly; no request will be entertained if announcements in the admission site are not noticed/overlooked by any applicant.

Ø  If any information/documents is subsequently detected as fake or false, your admission will be cancelled.

Ø  If at any stage it is found that you do not fulfill any of the rules and regulations of the University/this college regarding admission to undergraduate courses, then your application will be rejected and, if admitted, your admission will be cancelled.

For New Applicants:

v  Register your application through “Apply Online” from our website www.snggdcg.ac.in and then “Apply Now” item.

v  Select the Subject, fill up every details, and submit online the clear scanned copy of your relevant documents like 10th admit, 12th marks sheet, signature, photo, caste certificate (only for reserved categories students from competent authorities) and CU registration certificate (if you have it).

v  Read carefully before submission. Any wrong entry of marks, category, year of passing, Board of last qualifying examination cannot be rectified later. For this year, application fees is zero.

For Existing Applicants:

If an existing applicant wants to apply for subjects and categories mentioned above, the following instructions are to be followed:

ü  Get into the login portal with the candidate’s existing ID (Application No) and Password.

ü  Go through the option : Apply New Subject

ü  Choose your course and subject

ü  Press Add, to my Application

ü  Save and continue. (For this year, application fees is zero.)
